Internet Broadband Router with ADSL Modem

 
EP-4704SX ADSL Ethernet Router is optimized to address the growing demand for high-speed
Internet access. It is not just an — always-on “high-speed broadband connection to the internet. With
existing twisted-pair telephone lines, ADSL technology provides data rates more than 100 times as fast as a
traditional analog modem, without any interruption in telephone service.
EP-4704SX is fully compliant with the full-rate ADSL (T1.413 Issue 2 and G.dmt) and the splitterless
G.lite (G.992.2) standards. Data transfer rates are up to 8 Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream.

  • G.992.2 ( G.lite ) : Downstream and Upstream data rates up to 1.5Mbps and 512Kbps

  • WAN Mode : Support PPP Over ATM and PPP Over Ethernet
  • LAN Mode : Support Routed/Bridge Ethernet Over ATM
  • Classical Internet Protocol Over ATM
  • Support ATM SAR, ATM AAL5, ATM Forum UNI3.1/4.0 PVC and support up to 8 PVCs

Bridge function

  • Ethernet to ADSL Self-Learning Transparent Bridging ( IEEE 802.1D )
  • Supports up to 128 MAC Learning Addresses

Router mode

  • Supports RIP 2 and Static Routing
  • Supports NAT/NAPT
  • Provides DHCP Server and Client

Security

  • Supports User authentication for PPP and PAP/CHAP
